SUMMARY:Greater Chicagoland Chapter Event - Advanced Air Conditioning Diagnostics and Repair
DESCRIPTION:Advanced Air Conditioning Diagnostics and Repair with Marc Dufort\n\nsponsored by AutoZone\n\n \n\n\n\nAs environmental regulations continue to demand more fuel-efficient and clean burning engines\, manufacturers have introduced more efficient\, and complicated\, HVAC systems. The goal of this class is to refresh technician knowledge of refrigeration principles and bring them up to date on the latest air-conditioning diagnostic techniques\, service and repair practices. These principles will be demonstrated on R-1234yf equipped vehicles as well as on R-134a equipped vehicles. After completing this class\, a technician will be able to:\n\n \n\n Understand the refrigeration cycle and enthalpy\n\n Identify new technologies and their impact on HVAC\n\n Understand various HVAC designs\n\n Properly replace HVAC components\n\n Comprehend various diagnostic testing techniques and identify tools necessary to service\, maintain\, and diagnose air conditioning systems.\n\n Understand computer controls used in air conditioning system
