SUMMARY:Central Missouri Chapter Meeting - Streamlining Engine Mechanical Testing
DESCRIPTION:Streamlining Engine Mechanical Testing\n\nPresented by: Kevin Leiby \n\nWe are experiencing an increase of vehicles in our service bays today with driveability complaints that are eventually traced back to a mechanical base engine problem. The problem is that these vehicles often arrive with a Check Engine lamp on with a DTC stored for a sensor or circuit performance issue\, due to the sensor in-put being skewed or falling outside normal thresholds for the sensor.\n\n\n\nOften times\, time and money has been spent in an attempt to repair the DTC\, only to find the problem still exists. This is due to the sensor input is falling outside normal ranges due to engine mechanical conditions.\n\n\n\nCome learn how to utilize your Oscilloscope\, coupled with various probes or sensors to maximize your diagnostic time to efficiently pinpoint base engine mechanicals.
